There is not a lot of information to go on here, but I can give you a few pointers.
First, if you are taking anything such as aspirin, Tylenol, Aleve, ibuprofen, etc., then stop. Many people perpetuate their headaches by taking these medications. These medications can cause a rebound phenomenon.
Second, you should see your doctor for an exam to make sure there is nothing neurologic going on. He or she may then prescribe a low dose of Elavil or Inderal to prevent the headaches.
This approach can help about 80 percent of headache sufferers.
